Taiwanese White Bittermelon Seeds

Grown at the Cultural Roots Nursery Farm in Winters, CA. White bittermelon is a favored variety in Taiwanese cooking and is said to be a sweeter variety of bittermelon. For best germination results we recommend clipping the edge of the seed and soaking in water overnight before planting. Bittermelon loves warm conditions. Start indoors or on a seedling heat mat in March and transplant outdoors at the end of April and May (Zone 9b). In areas with frost, plant outside after the threat of frost has passed. Grown using organic methods.
