As a part of the finale of National Farm to School month, our plants were planted in the Governor’s gardens by a local elementary school.
Students planted a variety of Asian fall veggie starts: tong ho (chrysanthemum greens), pac choi, cilantro, sorrel, snow peas, mizuna, scallions, and fennel. Excited to see how the plants grow and to have some Asian heritage plants represented in the Capitol’s gardens 🌱@jennifersiebelnewsom @cafarmtoschool @spork.food.hub @nusdfood@gavinnewsom
